SONORO - Imagining music

How do you imagine classical music transposed into black-and-white photographs?
What do the vast fields in southern Oltenia near the Danube have in common with Brahms, Dvořák or Sostakovici?
These are a few questions to which photographer Serban Mestecăneanu promised to answer through photography, within the 2008 Interferences project, with the help of the SoNoRo grant scholars, teachers, organizers and the wonderful hosts of Portul Cultural Cetate.
The result is the black – and – white photo album entitled "SONORO – Imagining Music", edited by Igloo Media, with the support of Raiffeisen Bank Romania, an album which contains 139 photographs.
