The Boema House

str. Iuliu Maniu, nr. 34, Cluj-Napoca

  • Medium

Built over 180 years ago, the building has seen aristocratic times as residence of Countess Krisztina Bethlen (Kendeffy) and later of other rich and influent families of the city, to become, in modern times, a restaurant with a summer garden much appreciated by the locals.

More than the history of a building, the Boema story is the story of the loyal customers and their charming soirees, of feats with fine drinks and delicious sweets, and of the artists who enchanted them.

It is the story of a unique atmosphere, the unforgettable Cluj air with joie de vivre, beauty appreciation and full of elegance.
